After launching the new Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana as its new headquarters plus opening the renovated Palazzo Fendi at via del Corso with the Private Suites, Fendi teamed up with Zuma, the multi award winning international restaurant, to start its own restaurant inside to mark the group’s 10th opening around the world.
Designer Noriyoshi Muramatsu of Studio Glitt in collaboration with Zuma founder and creator Rainer Becker for the 14th year, made sure also this restaurant celebrate the energy of the location, whilst retaining the style and ethos of ZUMA. Natural elements offer a warm and elegant backdrop for the textures and flavours of the menu.
Situated over the top two floors of Palazzo Fendi, the fourth floor restaurant space, inspired by the informal style of izakaya dining, showcases its modern japanese cuisine that is famously authentic but not traditional. Dishes – designed to be shared – are created in three different cooking styles: the main kitchen, the sushi counter and the robata grill offering a variety of textures and tastes. The fifth floor bar & lounge, serving world-class cocktails, also boasts an outside terrace with spectacular views of the city – perfect for relaxed yet sophisticated social or business gatherings.

Posizionato ai due piani più alti di Palazzo Fendi, il ristorante al quarto piano si ispira allo stile informale tipico dell’izakaya e mette in mostra la sua cucina giapponese moderna che notoriamente è autentica ma non tradizionale. I piatti – pensati per essere condivisi – vengono creati con tre diversi modi di cucinare: la cucina principale, il bancone del sushi e la griglia robata offrendo diversi sapori e consistenze. Il quinto piano ospita invece il bar e la lounge, con i suoi cocktail di punta, vanta anche di una terrazza all’aperto con viste spettacolari sulla città – perfette per rilassati ma anche sofisticati incontri di lavoro.
