For the first time in its history, Pantone Color Institute just released a new Pantone color after a character, the “Minion Yellow”.
Based on the Minions from Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s Despicable Meglobal film franchise, including the upcoming prequel Minions, PANTONE Minion Yellow is an illuminating, energetic, friendly and fun-loving yellow shade that immediately calls out to you.

“Just as the sun’s rays enliven us, PANTONE Minion Yellow is a color that heightens awareness and creates clarity, lighting the way to the intelligence, originality and the resourcefulness of an open mind – this is the color of hope, joy and optimism,” said Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director, Pantone Color Institute.

The custom PANTONE Minion Yellow color will be added to the PANTONE Fashion, Home + Interiors color palette with the next color addition.

Basato sui Minions, i personaggi protagonisti di “Cattivissimo me” della Universal Pictures e Illumination Entertainment, il nuovo giallo è una tinta illuminante, energica, amichevole e amante del divertimento che richiama immediatamente l’attenzione.

“Così come i raggi del sole ci animano, il PANTONE Giallo Minion è un colore che aumenta la consapevolezza e crea chiarezza, aprendo la strada all’intelligenza, originalità e ingegnosità di una mente aperta. È il colore della speranza, della gioia e dell’ottimismo” ha spiegato Leatrice Eisenman, Direttore Esecutivo del Pantone Color Institute.

Il colore PANTONE Giallo Minion verrà inserito nella palette Fashion, Home + Interiors (Moda, Casa + Interni) in occasione dell’uscita del suo aggiornamento.
