A new project curated by Michele de Lucchi and Andrea Kerbaker in partnership with Comieco aims for the cultural revolution (at least in Italy). “Doggy bag – if i’m left over eat me” is an initiative against food waste created in collaboration with Slow Food Italia. It features several take away leftover containers conceived by a collaborating team of three italian designers and three italian illustrators supervised by the architect and the writer. The project develops from the attempt to reduce the quantity of food trash inciting a mind changing in both restaurateurs and clients.
Starting these very days, 75 restaurants in Milan and around accepted the challenge and received a first free kit of boxes. Here you can find a list of the first places participating in the event.

// Il nuovo progetto curato da Michele de Lucchi e Andrea Kerbaker e realizzato da Comieco punta alla rivoluzione culturale (per lo meno in Italia). “Doggy Bag – Se avanzo mangiatemi” è un’iniziativa contro lo spreco alimentare ideata in collaborazione con Slow Food Italia. Prevede una serie di contenitori take away nati dalla collaborazione di un team composto da tre designer e tre illustratori, tutti italiani, coordinati dai celebri architetto e scrittore. Il progetto si è sviluppata a partire dal tentativo di ridurre la quantità di cibo gettato promuovendo un cambio di mentalità sia nei ristoratori che nei clienti.
Proprio in questi giorni, 75 ristoranti di Milano hanno accettato la sfida e hanno ricevuto gratuitamente il primo kit di contenitori. Qui trovate la lista dei primi locali partecipanti.
