Ten years after the disappearing of his wife and partner Jeann-Claude, Christo completes The Floating Piers, a projects the two of them were working on together many years before, a floating bridge joining the banks of Lake Iseo. CHRISTO – Walking on water presents the building of one of the most impressive works of art ever conceived and realized. As the setting of this epic and memorable folly – we find out about the complex negotiations between art and politics, the engineering challanges, the logistics endeavours, the pure power of nature, depicted by breathtaking views and we see the unfolding of an artist’s dream, getting closer to the man who’s chasing it: Christo.
