Kayan Kwok is an artist, illustrator and a graphic designer based in Hong Kong. For a while now she’s been working on a project called “A poster per day for 365 days” meaning she has been committed in realizing a graphic poster everyday till she reached a year. On March 1, 2015 she finished her 365th poster but decided to continue anyway to see how far she can go.

Audrey, is her new poster serie in which she combines traditional chinese ink drawings with images of beautiful british actress Audrey Hepburn. Fascinated by vintage american advertisements of the 20’s she uses certain elements from back then mixing them up with some contemporary graphic design features and this is what makes her work different from traditional collage. What is your favourite?

// Kayan Kwok è un’artista, illustratrice e graphic designer di Hong Kong. Da un po’ di tempo ormai lavora ad un progetto intitolato “Un poster al giorno per 365 giorni” per il quale si è impegnata a realizzare un poster ogni giorno fino al raggiungimento di un anno intero. Il 1 Marzo 2015 ha portato a termine la 365esima illustrazione ma ha deciso di continuare per vedere fin dove riesce ad arrivare.

Audrey, è la nuova serie di poster in cui mescola disegni tradizionali cinesi a china con immagini della bellissima attrice britannica Audrey Hepburn. Affascinata dalle pubblicità americane degli anni 20, ne usa alcuni elementi caratteristici per unirli a elementi grafici contemporanei, rendendo così i suoi lavori diversi dai tradizionali collage.
