During Milan Design Week we stumbled upon his beautiful blow ups at Moooi exhibition at their usual location of Via Savona 56, and it was one of the best moments of the week. 

Yesterday we found out (by chance) Rahi Rezvani, the Iran born – Dutch resident photographer, has been involved in a new project in the music field and immediately we thought it was an essential news to share. Rahi, indeed, for the past few months, has been busy working with Editors, helping them develop the visual for the new upcoming album.

The first results of this promising collaboration is now accessible for all of us through the videoclip of Editors’ new single No Harm, directed exactly by Rahi, which features amazing super slow motion shots.

On their work with Rezvani, Editors’ lead singer Tom Smith said: “Rahi understands what Editors is, we share a love for a certain aesthetic which our music mirrors. But rather than it all feeling too familiar what’s most exciting for us is the element of surprise. It’s exciting to be working hand in hand with him, to build on our relationship and see how far we can take it. It is, as he would say, ‘beautiful’.”

\\ Durante la Design Week di Milano ci siamo imbattute nelle sue bellissime gigantografie da Moooi nella solita location di via Savona 56, e possiamo dire essere stato uno dei momenti migliori della settimana.

Ieri abbiamo scoperto (per caso) che Rahi Rezvani, il fotografo nato in Iran e ora cittadino olandese, è stato coinvolto in un nuovo progetto in ambito musicale e immediatamente abbiamo pensato fosse una notizia da condividere. Rahi, infatti, negli ultimi mesi ha collaborato con la rock band inglese Editors aiutandoli a sviluppare la parte visual per il loro nuovo album.

I primi risultati di questa unione sono ora accessibili a tutti con il videoclip del nuovo singolo No Harm, diretto appunto da Rahi, che vi stupirà con le sue magnifiche scene in super slow motion.

Sul lavoro fatto insieme a Rezvani il cantante leader della band Tom Smith ha così parlato: “Rahi comprende quello che sono gli Editors, condividiamo un certo tipo di estetica che la nostra musica intende riflettere. Non vogliamo che sia tutto così scontato, per noi quello che è più importante è l’elemento sorpresa. È emozionante lavorare fianco a fianco con lui, costruire il nostro rapporto e vedere fino a dove arriverà. È, come direbbe lui, ‘bellissimo’.”
