Coming up this May, Museum of Modern Art announced a big retrospective of the multifaceted icelandic artist Bjork.
The exhibition will display her 20 years of work, from first solo album Debut in 1993 to the new projects of 2015, including just-released new album Vulnicura. It will also present Björk’s contribution to every field she was involved in, from fashion to performance art, from movies to visuals.

“This highly experimental exhibition offers visitors a direct experience of her hugely collaborative body of work” says MoMA’s Chief Curator at Large, Klaus Biesenbach.

La mostra presenterà i suoi vent’anni di carriera, a partire dall’album di debutto Debut del 1993, per arrivare ai nuovi progetti del 2015, che includono il nuovo album appena uscito Vulnicura. Verrà anche mostrato il contributo di Bjork in ogni singolo campo in cui è stata coinvolta, dalla moda all’arte performativa, dal cinema ai video.

“Questa mostra altamente sperimentale offrirà ai visitatori una diretta testimonianza della sua enorme raccolta di collaborazioni” ha spiegato Klaus Biesenbach, curatore generale del MoMa.

Potete amarla o no, ma di certo è una mostra da non lasciarsi sfuggire se siete nei dintorni..
